Texas Governor’s Mansion destroyed Sunday by Fire.
This past Sunday the Texas Governors Mansion went up in flames. According to news reports arson is suspected. C sent me these pictures earlier today and mentioned last night that he read that the mansion was under renovation so those artifacts that belong to Texas History weren’t being kept on site.

The fact that someone wanted to destroy a historical landmark that belongs to the people of Texas is beyond heartbreaking. I still wonder what was lost to history when the hurricanes came through Louisiana and other states in 2005. What building’s and people’s histories were lost to the rushing waters.
That’s just too bad. I don’t know what posesses some people.
