I remember when Band of Brothers originally ran on HBO. Chris had been looking forward to it and had mentioned it to me a few times. From the moment I heard the opening music I was a fan.

Having worked in the medical field for a while (even though I’m on the administrative side of things as opposed to the medical) I can’t even begin to imagine what the medics went through.

There was just something about Webster that I liked and I actually picked up his book,Parachute Infantry: An American Paratrooper’s Memoir of D-Day and the Fall of the Third Reich, shortly after the mini-series ended.
